ProDigna is delighted to announce “ProDigna Corp Labs,” a space created to bring young aspiring entrepreneurs together while they are still students, providing them with the tools to take their ideas as far as they wish, and allowing them the opportunity to test ideas and strategies that need feedback and support to succeed.

What does ProDigna propose?

We propose the creation of a space for entrepreneurial development on the university campus and in partnership with the university administration. These spaces would encourage the natural entrepreneurial spirit of the students.

ProDigna Corp Lab would insure that these spaces have the following basic characteristics:

  • Personalized and consistent training in workshops held by international trainers, in Spanish and English:
    • How to create your own company: creating a business plan, market studies, financial and administrative processes
    • Communications skills: project presentation, public relations, media, social media and internal communications
    • Sales: sales techniques, negotiation, client attention and post-sales
    • Good business practices
    • Team management
    • Leadership
    • Quality control
  • Counseling for students in creating their own businesses:
    • Basic legal advisory services (with a local expert)
    • Basic accounting (with a local expert)
    • Business plan creation
  • How to create a network of corporate contacts with local and national companies in order to create corporate synergies, sponsors, and mentorships.
  • Identification of students with particular skills and incentives for them to succeed.
  • Creation of co-working spaces where the interdisciplinary interaction among entrepreneurs increases opportunities.
  • Accessibility to the basic tools for starting a business, including: office material, workspace, internet, printers and other materials.
How does ProDigna do this?

Through “ProDigna Corp Labs” we plan to partner with university institutions in creating and implementing these spaces for young entrepreneurs. The installation of these spaces takes place over 5 years, for which ProDigna has developed a plan of action that goes from establishing links with corporations to individual coaching sessions and preparation of local staff for the future management of the Lab.

ProDigna Action!

In the third year of the program, ProDigna will launch “Action!” (an event with investors). ProDigna will invite investors and leading businesspeople interested in financing and supporting this entrepreneurial initiative to participate in a competition.

The investors will listen to presentations by each student and will select at least one winner, to whom they will provide a small seed capital to implement their idea. They will then mentor this implementation. There can be more than one winner depending on the interest generated by the presentations.

The Lab is a medium to long-term investment that presents excellent opportunities for the University once it has been established and forms part of the institution’s infrastructure.
